Safety Management System (SMS) Templates

Terms and Conditions

Although all due care and consideration is made during the development of the Ocean Time Marine Online documentation, policies and procedures, no guarantee or warranty is implied in relation to the use of any documentation within an organisation. All documentation is supplied on a generic and non site-specific basis only, and risk assessments are to be conducted prior to any implementation of the documents. Modifications to the documents should be made so that it is specific to the associated organisation.

Consultation with workers and opportunity for discussion is fundamental in implementing effective policies and procedures. It is your responsibility to ensure local legislation is included in any relevant documentation. Completing the template is essential in the implementation of the Ocean Time Safety Management System Template. Consultants are available in most areas, however this is not included in the cost of the template. It is intended that most customers will have enough information supplied by Ocean Time Marine to create an acceptable and workable Safety Management System that is acceptable by most government authorities.

The Ocean Time Marine Documentation is all based on the 12 elements of the ISM Code, and written in an acceptable format for most government authorities. The Ocean Time Marine Safety Management System template has been developed based on the requirements of the National Safety Maritime Regulators. However, in order to meet full compliance, the template must be appropriately completed by the owner/operator of this vessel.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you understand that you are purchasing a single Safety Management System Template from Ocean Time Marine. A single SMS Template can only be used by the organisation purchasing the documentation for internal purposes only. Documentation cannot be forwarded to a third party or resold for any reason whatever without written permission from Ocean Time Marine.
